ENDURO #1 – SUNRISE
October 9, 2022
Presented by Stillwell Performance MTB Suspension
Location:
Sunrise Ski Resort (map)
Greer, AZ
Race Format:
Enduro racing is made up of multiple timed descents. Riders will follow a specific route to get to the start of each stage, some by pedal others by chair lift. After all the stages are completed, a rider’s combined time will determine their overall placing on the day.
Knee pads, elbow pads, and a full face helmet are strongly recommended. A trail bike with 120+ mm of travel and a dropper seat post is encouraged.
General Information:
Sunrise Ski Resort is located 50-mins east of Show Low in the White Mountains of Arizona. Pine forest, aspens, and loamy soil are what you’ll find up there. The trails at Sunrise are rugged with lots of rocks, roots and drops.
For this event, lift access will be provided for select stages. This equals less pedaling and longer runs! The lifts will be open Fri – Sun. Come up and ride Friday & Saturday with your buddies. Sunday trails only open to racers. Pack a jacket as it’s much cooler at the top and in the morning.
All day lift pass for spectators are available for $20 Fri – Sun.
Camping/Lodging:
RV Camping – Designated 30 amp hookups are located next to the General Store for $35 / night. Purchase your permit at the General Store next to campground.
