Race Format:
Enduro racing is made up of multiple timed descents. Riders will follow a specific route to get to the start of each stage, some by pedal others by chair lift. After all the stages are completed, a rider’s combined time will determine their overall placing on the day.

Knee pads, elbow pads, and a full face helmet are strongly recommended. A trail bike with 120+ mm of travel and a dropper seat post is encouraged.

General Information:
Mingus Mountain is located 15-miles north east of Prescott Valley up hwy 89A just before dropping into Jerome.

IMPORTANT!!! Saturday – You may see horses/runners in the afternoon for the Man vs. Horse race. Please be courteous.

Camping/Lodging:
Tent/Car Camping – Mingus Mountain Campground is open for participants to camp in. $10 per night. Please pay at self pay station. There is also free dispersed camping throughout Mingus Mountain.

Food on Site:

  • Trail Manos cookout (Sat. 4 pm)
  • Pizza

  • $80 until Thursday 10/6 at 8 PM
  • $120 until 8 AM on race day

Refund Policy:
If you become sick or are experiencing COVID symptoms approaching race day you may transfer your entry to the next event.

Awards/Payouts:

Medals awarded to top 3 men and women in each category.

Payout to Expert men & women 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $80.

Course Info:

  • # of Stages: 3
  • Distance: ~15-miles
  • Elevation Gain: ~1500′
  • Max Elevation: 7,700′

  • Transfer to stage 1: Left out of Playground Campground (away form 89A). Turn right past Methodist camp up towards Mingus Mountain lookout tower. Hang a left at the Y. Start is 100 yards past.
  • Stage 1: Gaddes Canyon (110 > 9037)
  • Transfer to stage 2: Pedal from bottom of stage 1 5-miles up to Trailhead 28.
  • Stage 2: 28 > 111
  • Transfer to stage 3: At the end of stage 2 pedal up the hill to the main forest road and hang a right for 100 yards, then right onto the trail (follow green arrows). Rocky ½ mile climb to stage 3 start.
  • Stage 3: 533
  • Upon completing stage 3, pedal up to 89A (just ahead) and take shuttle back to start.

Beginner Rider’s & 10-12 will be riding Stages 1 & 3 ONLY. After stage 1, begin transfer then look for red arrows, make a left at the to Stage 3.

All Day – Course open for pre-riding
3:00 – 4:00p – Packet Pickup (at Playground Campground)
4:00 – Trail Manos Cookout (at Playground Campground)

Sunday – 10/29
7:00 – 8:15 am – Packet Pickup / Day of Registration Open
8:30 am – Race Start (must check-in at Playground Campground at scheduled start time)
3:00 pm – Awards (sooner if possible)
