GENERAL INFORMATION:
We are returning to Havasu! A scenic drive, awesome views and fun trail…and some good local beer enticed us back to this venue. Sara Park has a BMX track, baseball fields and plenty of other goodness for the whole family. Be sure to visit the lake. It is amazingly clear and HUGE.  We will be staging out of the Rodeo grounds and we’ll have plenty of room for campers/RV’s etc.

This is a Saturday only ONE DAY race

CAMPING:
Free RV and tent camping at the Rodeo Grounds (dirt lot, no hookups). YOU MUST REMOVE ANY ROCKS YOU PLACE IN THE PARING LOT BEFORE YOU LEAVE OR CAMPING WILL NO LONGER BE FREE. Gates open at 8:00 AM Friday, must be out by 3 PM Sunday. Review our site layout for where to setup.

Team Tent Reservations – Teams wishing to setup their tent will be asked to reserve a spot.

FOOD ONSITE:
  • Coffee, hot chocolate, water, soda
  • Hamburgers & chips

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. ALL RACERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE.
$25 First timers (1x only – no points awarded, no awards – first time division)
$25 Juniors (18 and under)
$50 Adults

Early registration ends Thursday 3/4 @ 8 PM. Late registration is $50 Junior/First Timer, $75 Adult available online until 30-mins prior to your race.

MBAA MEMBERSHIP:
Signup for an MBAA membership when you register for just $20 ($10 for juniors under 18) and contribute directly to trail projects across the state. Plus you’ll get a cool pair of members only socks and sticker. You’ll also be entered into out members only raffles drawn at each race!

MBAA REFUND POLICY:
If you become sick or are experiencing COVID symptoms approaching race day you may transfer your entry to the next event. If we are 2 weeks out from race day and you have an unforeseen circumstance, we can issue you a refund. Your entry fee goes towards supporting the trails you ride.

CATEGORIES:
Elite (Pro) – Competes at the highest level
Expert (Cat 1) – Seasoned racer
Intermediate (Cat 2) – Not just a weekend warrior, usually rides quite bit
Beginner (Cat 3) – Relatively new to the sport
First Timer – Newbie, First Timer Category is for first time racers
Single Speed – Only one gear, likes to suffer
Rock Crusher – Gents 200-lbs +
Athena Women – 165-lbs +
Plus Bike – 2.8 inch tires or wider
Marathon – Long distance, approx. 3.5-hrs
Junior – Ages 6-18

RACE AGE:
The age you will be on December 31, 2021.

AWARDS:
Awards are 3 deep per category.
No awards ceremony. Participants can pick up their medal at the podium after their race. No rider payout in 2021.

Call ups will begin 5-mins before wave start and be based off series overall ranking.

VOLUNTEER:
Every event is not possible without the help and support of volunteers. Help make these events great by giving back a bit of your time.

START TIMES & LAP COUNTS:

Havasu Start Times & Lap Counts – (updated 2/8 @ 7:50 am) start times are not final, but close. We are working with Lake Havasu City on keeping folks spread out over the course of the day without racing until 5 pm.

COURSE MAPS:
Havasu Havoc

  • Green Arrows – Junior (3-miles) – A fun quick loop around the fair grounds, great for spectating.
  • Blue Arrows – Long (10-miles) – A jewel in the desert with spectacular views of the cliffs. The Water Shed Loop course starts out with a fast rolling climb before turning onto the spine and through the canyon. The singletrack is sure to keep a big smile on your face!
  • Marathon – Complete 5 blue laps for a total of 50-miles. 3.5-hr cutoff, if you cross the finish line after 3.5-hrs you will not go out for another lap. You are not a DNF, just race finished.

Friday 3/5 –

  • All Day Course Open for Pre-ride
  • 5:00 – 6:00 pm – Number plate pickup open

Saturday 3/6 –

  • 7:00 am – Number plate pickup open
  • 8:00 am – Elite/Expert Men/Women Expert Men, & All Marathon
  • 10:00 am – Intermediate Men, Beginner Men
  • 12:00 am – Intermediate & Beginner Women
  • 2:00 pm – Juniors
  • 3:00 pm  – Junior Girls 9-10, Junior Boys/Girls 6-8
