GENERAL INFORMATION:
We are returning to Havasu! A scenic drive, awesome views and fun trail…and some good local beer enticed us back to this venue. Sara Park has a BMX track, baseball fields and plenty of other goodness for the whole family. Be sure to visit the lake. It is amazingly clear and HUGE.  We will be staging out of the Rodeo grounds and we’ll have plenty of room for campers/RV’s etc.

This is a Saturday only ONE DAY race

CAMPING:

  • Free RV and tent camping at the Rodeo Grounds (dirt lot, no hookups) thanks to Mudshark Brewery.
  • PLEASE REMOVE ANY ROCKS YOU PLACE IN THE PARKING LOT BEFORE YOU LEAVE
  • Gates open at 8:00 AM Friday, must be out by 3 PM Sunday.

TEAM TENT RESERVATIONS – Teams wishing to setup their tent will be asked to reserve a spot.

Early bird until 2 weeks prior / Until week of Thursday 8 pm / Late registration on race day

  • Juniors – $25 / $30 / $35 Juniors (under 18)
  • Adults – $45 / $50 / $60

MBAA MEMBERSHIP:
Signup for an MBAA membership when you register for just $20 ($10 for juniors under 18) and contribute directly to trail projects across the state. Plus you’ll get a cool pair of members only socks and sticker. You’ll also be entered into out members only raffles drawn at each race!

MBAA REFUND POLICY:
If you test positive for COVID the week before the race you may transfer your entry to the next event. If you have an unforeseen circumstance or your work schedule changes on race week we will donate your race entry to maintaining the trails.

CATEGORIES:
Elite (Pro) – Competes at the highest level
Expert (Cat 1) – Seasoned racer
Intermediate (Cat 2) – Not just a weekend warrior, usually rides quite bit
Beginner (Cat 3) – Relatively new to the sport
First Timer – Newbie, First Timer Category is for first time racers
Single Speed – Only one gear, likes to suffer
Rock Crusher – Gents 200-lbs +
Athena Women – 165-lbs +
Plus Bike – 2.8 inch tires or wider
Marathon – Long distance, approx. 3.5-hrs
Junior – Ages 6-18
Kids – FREE 6 & under race

AWARDS:
Awards are 3 deep per category.

COURSE MAPS:
Havasu Havoc

  • Green Arrows – Junior (3-miles) – A fun quick loop around the fair grounds, great for spectating (GPX | Strava).
  • Blue Arrows – Long (10-miles) – A jewel in the desert with spectacular views of the cliffs. The Water Shed Loop course starts out with a fast rolling climb before turning onto the spine and through the canyon. The singletrack is sure to keep a big smile on your face!
  • Marathon – Complete 5 blue laps for a total of 50-miles. 3.5-hr cutoff means if you cross the finish line after 3.5-hrs you are finished and do not have to go out for another lap. You are not a DNF, just race finished.

Friday 3/17 –

  • All Day Course open for pre-riding (Final course markings underway)
  • 4-5 pm Number plate pickup open (register online)

Saturday 3/18 –

  • 7:00 am – Number plate pickup open (check in at least 30-mins prior to start time)
  • 8:00 am – [Wave 1] ALL Marathon, Junior Boys 9-14, Junior Girls 11-14
  • 9:00 am – [Wave 2] Junior Girls 9-10, Junior Boys/Girls 6-8
  • 10:30 am – Awards Wave 1
  • 9:10 am – [Wave 3] Elite/Expert Men/Women Expert Men
  • 10:00 am – Free Kid’s Race (6 & under)
  • 11:30 am – [Wave 4] Intermediate/Beginner Women
  • 12:30 pm – Awards Wave 3
  • 2:00 pm – Awards Wave 4
  • 12:30 pm – Free Kid’s Race (6 & under) – presented by Confluence 928 Off-Road Team
  • 1:00 pm  – [Wave 5] Intermediate Men , Rock Crusher, Plus Bike, Beginner Men
